A NOBLE BEARING (GLoG Class: Goblin Knight)

A class idea created on behest of my GM, for a fellow PC.

Goblins get the idea of knights. A big fancy person, riding about on a fancy mount, being the fightiest. They don’t, however, quite get the whole “chivalry” thing. Or the “Honour” thing. Or the “Decency” thing. Boy howdy, do they get the “Win Your Fights” thing, though.

 GOBLIN KNIGHT

EQUIPMENT: Ill-fitting chainmail, Shield with someone else’s heraldry, 5th-hand medium weapon, Goblin mount (1d4: 1: Beetle, 2: Wolf, 3: Giant Frog, 4: 2 Goblins dressed as a pony), 1 slot (10 uses) of high quality noble-grade Goblin Throwing Faeces) 3 random useless items (1 slot total)

SKILLS: Goblin courtesy, plus (1d3) 1: Mischief 2: Mayhem 3: Sneakery

+1 HP, Defence, or Attack per template (roll 1d3 if you’re not a coward)

A: GOBLIN CODE OF CHIVALRY, BASTARD SUPREME
B: BODY GUARD
C: ‘E SPITS DA CORPSE, SHITKICKER
D: AURA OF CHAOS, GOBLIN WAR-YODEL

GOBLIN CODE OF CHIVALRY

You abide unerringly by the Goblin Code of Chivalry, which is as follows

Mischief

"A true goblin never truths when he might trick. To part the seeing from the being is the greatest goodness goblins get."

Mayhem

"A true goblin never does as he's told, never tells as he's done, and never follows a rule, least of all this one."

Sneakery

"A true goblin never does what gets seen when he might have done it where it wouldn't. More secrets is more better to goblins."

You gain [templates] bonus to any action that aligns with the code (Lying like a bastard or pulling dirty maneuvers, saves VS charms and other disobedience, sneaking and beaking) You would gain penalties when breaking it, but see: Mayhem.

BASTARD SUPREME

If a target is at disadvantage against you (prone, surprised, has a faceful of flung shit), you may make a second attack when you attack them

BODY GUARD

If you have a disadvantaged enemy within reach and you would take damage (from a spell, attack, whatever. Not so much if you’re just poisoned), 1/round as a reaction you may roll another combat maneuver against the disadvantaged enemy. On a success, you yoink them into the path of the damage, and they take it themselves (hits automatically, apply armour and resistances as normal for a disadvantaged enemy).

E’ SPITS DA CORPSE

No matter where you are, with half an hour’s work and at least a few rooms worth of space, you can rustle up 1d3 goblin “squire” hirelings, AKA local filth who respect your pizzaz and suave manner.

SHITKICKER

When you put an enemy at disadvantage (knock them prone etc etc), deal [templates] appropriately typed damage as they step on a discarded morningstar (piercing), smash an elbow into a table (bludgeoning), stumble into a torch sconce (fire), or otherwise maim themselves on a conceivable environmental hazard. If there’s nothing nearby for them to hurt themselves on, do 1 less damage as you lay the boot in instead. Suitably exotic boots will change the damage type appropriately.

AURA OF CHAOS

Enemies who can see and hear you take a -2 to any morale rolls, because, well, really.

GOBLIN WAR-YODEL

1/day as a free action on your turn, you proudly ullulate the warbling, phlegmy war-cry of your people. Every ally (self included) who can hear you gains +1 to-hit until your next turn (+2 for goblins). Additionally, for each ally that attacks a given target over this duration, add a +1 to attacks versus that target as you all dogpile the shit out of them.
